On August 29th, China (Tangshan) Digital Application Scenario Matchmaking Conference was held to carry out matchmaking and exchange activities for different digital application scenarios, aiming to actively seize new opportunities for the development of the digital economy, fully leverage the driving role of scenario innovation in the digital economy, promote the development and growth of new technologies, new formats, and new models, and advance the high-quality development of Tangshan’s economy.

This event was jointly organized by the Tangshan Municipal People’s Government and the Hebei Federation of Digital Economics, with the theme of “Digital Intelligence Scenarios and Intelligence-shared Future”. Leaders from relevant industry associations and research institutes such as the Hebei Federation of Digital Economics, China Software Industry Association, Hebei Industry and Information Technology Development Research Institute, Hebei Digital Commune, and representatives of key enterprises gathered together to conduct matchmaking and exchange around digital economy, digital governance, rural revitalization, digital society, and others.

During the event, the Tangshan Municipal People’s Government signed strategic cooperation agreements with the Hebei Federation of Digital Economics and the Hebei Industry and Information Technology Development Research Institute to jointly promote the construction of digital Tangshan and the evaluation of the Tangshan County Digital Economy Development Index. Hebei Digital Commune released a list of digital scene capabilities.

Since the beginning of this year, Tangshan City has highlighted the development direction of digitization, networking, and intelligence, actively building a digital economy with data as the key element, promoting the deep integration of the Internet, big data, and artificial intelligence with various economic sectors, and accelerating the process of digital industrialization, industrial digitization, and social digitization transformation. At the same time, actively leveraging the advantages of a large-scale market, massive data resources, and rich application scenarios, Tangshan City will moderately advance the construction of new digital infrastructure, and strive to create the “one cloud, one network, one account, and one database”.
